COWIE - (nee Miller). Margaret Lena passed away, peacefully at home, on Tuesday, 3rd August, 2021, aged 71 years. Beloved wife of Alex Cowie for 54 years. Dearly loved mother to Carl, Steven, Evelyn, Eleanor, Esther, David and Miriam and treasured grandmother to Carron, Shannon, Miller, Gregor, Bryson, Daniel and Anna. Much loved sister to Robert "Rob" Miller. Lena brought up in Golspie, began her married life in Helmsdale, years later moved from Edinburgh to Bonar Bridge where, from 1981, she supported Alex in his ministry (Free Church) before finally moving to Glasgow in 1995. Committal service will take place at Helmsdale Cemetery today (Friday), 13th August, at 11.30am, friends and family welcome.
