SUTHERLAND - The family would like to thank friends, family, local and wider fishing communities for the kindness and overwhelming support extended to them on the sad and sudden loss of Willie. A special thank you to Brian Sutherland for his brave and helpful actions and everyone else involved with the rescue mission. Thank you to Rev Eric Patterson for his comforting and meaningful service, Captain Colin Mackay for his kind words at the funeral and his support to the family and for those who attended the funeral or expressed their sympathy. Thank you to Richard Sutherland and his kind staff who provided efficient and caring funeral arrangements, Danny Parkin for playing the bagpipes at the cemetery and to Brora Rangers Social Club for their support and venue and those who kindly provided the catering. The sum of £1,550.34 was raised and will be kindly donated to the Scrabster Fishermen's Mission.
