MacLEOD-BASU (Dornoch) - The family of the late Maggie Macleod Basu wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy extended to them in the way of cards, letters, flowers and phone calls. Thanks also to the staff of Oversteps Care Home, Dornoch, the Scottish Ambulance Service and all the various staff in Raigmore who were involved in her care, along with Alasdair Rhind Funeral Director and his staff, Steve and his staff at Trentham Hotel, Charlie Ross the piper, Duncan Macleod the minister, all those who lined the streets of Dornoch as her funeral cortege passed by, and to those who attended her funeral service at Proncynain Cemetery and via the live stream online, to pay their respects and bid her farewell. A big thank you to everyone who donated to Water Aid, where a total of £1246.58 was raised.
