Police in Sutherland are appealing for information following the theft of tractor batteries from an agricultural building in the Forsinard area.
The batteries were removed sometime between Thursday, March 8 and 9.40am on Wednesday, March 14.
Three batteries were stolen - described as being approximately 45cm x 15cm x 20cm and black in colour.
Reporting officer Constable Katy Hunter said: "We are urging anybody who saw any suspicious activity, whether a person or a vehicle, in the area to contact us as soon as you can.
"You can pass any information to police by calling 101, using reference NE2395/18, or call 0800 555 111.
"Alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
