Invergordon man writes song about Stoltman brothers “with hearts of gold”, receiving a shout-out from Europe’s strongest man himself.

Paul Sheriff, originally from Invergordon, is a long-time fan of strong brothers Luke and Tom Stoltman. After meeting Luke by chance at Inverness Leisure Centre, he was inspired to write a song in their honour - and it’s an upbeat hard-rocking banger.

“I have been following the strongman competition for years – the brothers have done so much for sports and putting Invergordon on the map” said Paul. “I was lucky enough to meet Luke in Inverness Leisure Centre, and he’s such a nice guy. So I had the idea to make a song for them, and as far as I know they like it.

“These guys certainly have hearts of gold as the song suggests.”

Under the name of Sheriffdude on Spotify, Paul released the song World’s Strongest Brothers in tribute to the Stoltmans. Paul also said that in time he hopes to release an album, with a focus on electric dance music.

Lyrics of the song describe the “two brothers with hearts of gold” who are “born to conquer with fire in their veins” and are “forever proclaimed”.

Luke Stoltman gave a shout-out to the song on his social media page, describing it as his new workout song.

The World’s Strongest Brothers tune has been praised by Stoltman superfans and Invergordon locals alike.

A fan commented under Luke’s post, saying: “My wife said to enter it into Eurovision, as it would better than most entries from the UK!”

Another follower said: “This is EPIC! I've got it stuck in my head already, I'm a metal fan so this is right up my alley.”
