Our new online section gives singers, bands and other musical groups the opportunity to promote themselves and their music.

Scottish Provincial Press web editor Russell Turner said: "We want to make this the only place you need to go to find anything about local music. It doesn't matter if you're a solo performer, a rock band, a Gaelic choir or a symphony orchestra – we want to hear from you.

"Send us a picture, a biography, a list of forthcoming gigs, contact details and a link to your website if you have one. We also want mp3s – but only one, so make it your best!"
