Community Initiative – Lairg and District Community Initiative held their annual general meeting in the community centre on Wednesday, 30th April. Chairman Lewis Hudson welcomed everyone and gave his report for the past year. He said the company had continued to be active in facilitating the provision of improvements at the Ferrycroft Visitor Centre, tied in with the auction mart, and an open day was to be held on Saturday 2nd May when the refurbishments would be shown to the public.
