Whist – The final whist drive of the season, held on 5th May, raised the magnificent sum of £535 for Cancer Research UK. John Ballard was cardmaster and Christine Matheson presented the prizes to: Ladies – 1 Pat Carr, 2 Marjory Turney, 3 Jean Maclennan, consolation Jessie Mackenzie. Gents – 1 Warwick Harrison, 2 Esther Mackenzie, 3 Andrew Buchan, consolation Stan Mitchell. Whist resumes in September.
