Ashley Thomson, Arabella, Easter Ross, graduated Bachelor of Nursing from Stirling University. The youngest daughter of Margaret Thomson, Camore, Ashley is a staff nurse at the Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie.

Liz Rapson, a former pupil at Brora Primary and Golspie High Schools, garduated with distinction in BSc Complementary Therapies (Reflexology) from Napier University, Edinburgh, where she also won the Heather Wilson prize for outstanding effort. Liz is the eldest daughter of Stanley and Tina Ross, Brora.

Morag Thomson graduated BEd (Hons) in Primary Education from Aberdeen University. She is the grand-daughter of Mary and the late Murdo MacLeod, Blairmore, Kinlochbervie.

Isla Ross of Bonar Bridge received her Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Edinburgh. She begins her teaching career in Edinburgh shortly.

Dee Raspin, daughter of Gordon and Brenda Raspin, Golspie, graduated BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh.

Bryan James Ross graduated BSc Hons in Product Design and Innovation from Strathclyde University. He is the son of Jeanann Stewart, 18 Oakwood Place, Ardgay.

Catherine Mary Scott graduated BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Strathclyde and will soon start a Post Graduate Diploma in Education at Jordanhill. She is the youngest daughter of Tom and Moira Scott, Smithy House, Golspie.

Cherith Sutton of Tongue, a former pupil of Farr High School, graduated BSc (Hons) in Medical Science from St Andrews University. She is now embarking on a further three years of study at the University of Manchester to complete her MBChB degree. Cherith will start her course in Manchester with a spell of clinical training at the Royal Preston Hospital, Lancashire, beginning in September.

Joanne Sutherland of Brora graduated with an HNC in professional cookery from the North Highland College in Dornoch, where she is now employed in the hospitality department.

Ross Sutherland graduated Master of Architecture from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Ross is the son of Don and Jan Sutherland, Tarves, Aberdeenshire, and grandson of Arra Innes, Helmsdale, and Rena Sutherland, Brora.

Thomas Urquhart graduated BA (Hons) in Business Management and Human Resources from Stirling University. Thomas is the son of Tommy and Debbie Urquhart, Invermess, and grandson of the late Tom and Chrissie Urquhart, Brora.

Shira Rowantree graduated BA (Hons) in Social Sciences with Economics and Politics from Glasgow Caledonian University. A former pupil of Golspie High School, Shira is the daughter of Robbie and Jeanne Rowantree, Gordonbush, Brora.

Helen Templeton, Badnaban, Lochinver, graduated Bed (Hons) in Physical Education from Moray House, Edinburgh University. A former pupil of Lochinver Primary School and Ullapool High School, Helen is currently teaching in her probationary year at Liberton High School, Edinburgh.

Suzie Sutherland, youngest daughter of Derek and Shona Sutherland, Dornoch, graduated BA (Hons) in Accountancy from Glasgow Caledonian University. She will soon take up a post at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Edinburgh.

Heather Ramsey, younger daughter of Alan and Christeen Ramsey, Dornoch, graduated BVMS, MRCVS with Merit from Glasgow University. A former pupil of Golspie High School, Heather is now working in a veterinary practice in Orkney.

Isla Ross graduated BSc (Hons) in Applied Sport and Exercise Science from Edinburgh University. Isla the daughter of Alastair and Irene Ross, Bonar Bridge is now undertaking a post-graduate teaching course.

Debbie Sinclair, daughter of Robert and Diane Sinclair, Ardgay, former pupil of Gledfield Primary school, Ardgay, and Dornoch Academy, graduated BSc (Hons) in Nursing from the University of Abertay in Dundee. Debbie is currently working as a staff nurse in Perth Royal Infirmary.

Rebecca Sutherland graduated with distinction with a Diploma in Adult Nursing from Kingston University, London. Rebecca is the daughter of William and Judi Sutherland, Embo Street, and granddaughter of Mrs M Alford and Mrs A Sutherland, Dornoch.

Sandie Scott, Rowan Crescent, Dornoch, graduated with honours in Classics from Glasgow University. She is the daughter of James A Scott, Aberdeen and Isobel Bruce, Dornoch, and granddaughter of the late William May, former Classics master and head teacher of Dornoch Academy.
