Brigitte Geddes, Ardgay, graduated with a BSc (Honours) degree (Class 2.1) in Environment and Heritage Studies (UHI MI) in Elgin recently. She was awarded an interdisciplinary BA (Honours) degree from the Open University in 1995.

Ruth Henderson of Tongue graduated Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Dundee. Ruth works in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Angela Jones, former pupil of Kinlochbervie Primary and Golspie High Schools, graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA (Hons) in Film Studies.

Karina Hamilton graduated with an HND in Administration and Information Technology from Reid Kerr College, Paisley, where she also won the Balfour Kilpatrick Special Award. Karina is the daughter of Christine and the late Willie Mackay, Portgower. Educated at Helmsdale Primary School and Golspie High School, she now works in Yorkhill Children’s Hospital in Glasgow.

Donna James from Bonar Bridge graduated BSc in Mental Health Nursing from Stirling University. She is now working in Migdale Hospital, Bonar Bridge.

Elizabeth Hedges of Polin, Kinlochbervie, graduated BSc in Nursing from the University of Stirling’s Highland campus. Elizabeth is now working as a staff nurse in ward 3A at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

Heidi Grillo (nee Dickson) graduated with distinction in complementary therapies from Napier University, Edinburgh. Heidi is the daughter of Don Dickson, Golspie, and Liz Rapson, Edinburgh, and the granddaughter of Jimmy Dickson, Golspie, and Stanley and Tina Ross, Brora.

Elizabeth Grant graduated BSc (Hons) in Physiology and Sports Science from the University of Glasgow. Elizabeth is the daughter of Allan and Angela Grant, Brora, and the grand-daughter of Ina Morrison, Golspie.
