Rebecca Jay Duncan graduated BSc (Hons) in mathmatics and physics from Strathclyde University. She is the daughter of Dado and Shona Duncan, Argo Terrace, Golspie. She is continuing her studies at Strathclyde taking a post graduate MSc course in High Power Radio Frequency Science and Engineering.

Leah Franchetti has received her Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary) from the University of Paisley. Leah, who will begin her teaching career in Blantyre near Glasgow, is a former pupil of Golspie High School and the elder daughter of Ruth and John Whittaker, Gartymore, Helmsdale.
