Scott Clark graduated BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Napier University in Edinburgh. He is a former Golspie High School pupil and son of Yvonne and Billy Clark, Clynelish, Brora.

Ann Creed graduated Dip HE in Cancer and Palliative Care from Napier University in Edinburgh. She is a member of the East Sutherland community nursing team and works in the Brora and Helmsdale areas.

Debbie Archer has been awarded a PhD in Equine Epidemiology by the University of Liverpool. The only daughter of Mr and Mrs W J Archer and granddaughter of Mrs Jessie and the late Duncan Macleod of Brae, Ardgay, Debbie graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 1996. She is now senior lecturer in equine surgery at Liverpool University and is married to a fellow veterinary surgeon.

Lauren Campbell, King Street, Embo graduated BSc (Hons) from Glasgow University. A former pupil of Dornoch Academy, Lauren is continuing her studies with a Masters degree in forensic science.

Charlotte Emma Choudhry, eldest daughter of Patrick and Judy Price, Scourie Hotel, graduated from the University of London with a degree in History (Hons). She is a former pupil of Kinlochbervie High School and now lives in London.

Angus Barron, The Shieling, Rogart, graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Heriot Watt University.

Kelly Burns graduated BSc in Business Administration from Abertay University, Dundee. She is the daughter of David and Anne Burns, formerly of Brora. Kelly is a former pupil of Alness Academy and presently works for the Clydesdale Bank in Dundee.

Amy Adam, a former pupil of Miller Academy and Thurso High School, graduated BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews. She is the younger daughter of Annabel and Robert and granddaughter of Bella and the late Willie John Mackay, Strathenbeg, Skerray. Amy is now going to Edinburgh University to study for a Diploma in Education.

Lisa Anderson graduated with honours in Communication and Mass Media from Glasgow Caledonian University. Lisa is the daughter of John and Liz Anderson, Faebuie, and granddaughter of James and Etta Anderson, Achosnich, Dornoch.

Joanne Boyle graduated BA in Child and Youth Studies from Inverness College UHI. A former pupil of Golspie High School, Joanne is the daughter of Duncan and Karen Stewart, Brora.

Kathleen Byron, BA (Hons), graduated MSc in Information Management from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh. Kathleen is the daughter of Charlie and Lily Byron, Smithy Cottage, Rosehall.

Glenda Baillie, Rosslyn Street, Brora, gained her postgraduate certificate in education, post-compulsory education and training from Kingston College, University of Greenwich.

Neil Reid Brown, Dun-Aliscaig, Edderton, graduated MA (Hons) in Economics and Accountancy from Edinburgh University. Neil is former pupil of Tain Royal Academy.

Stewart Macleod Bowman graduated with Honours in Brewing and Distilling, and gained a BSc in Combined Studies in Biology and Chemistry, from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Stewart is the son of Elizabeth and Geoffrey Smyth, Achrimsdale, Brora.

Graham Cowie graduated with a Masters degree in Chemistry from Heriot Watt University. He is the youngest son of James and Jennifer Cowie, Brora.

Claire Bonner (21) graduated BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Imaging Science from Glasgow Caledonian University. Claire, daughter of Tommy and Joan Bonner, 6 Ross Street, Golspie, is currently employed as a radiographer at Caithness General Hospital, Wick.

Aileen Cowie, Elizabeth Crescent, Dornoch, graduated with honours in Pharmacy from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. Elder daughter of Mhairi Cowie, Dornoch, and David Cowie, Bonar Bridge, Aileen is a former pupil of Bonar Bridge Primary School and Dornoch Academy. She is currently employed as a community pharmacist in Aberdeen.

Lynne Bremner, of “The Clachan”, Wick, daughter of Jasper and Elspeth Bremner, has graduated from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, with a BSc (first-class honours) in Physiotherapy. She is the granddaughter of Elret and the late Tommy Sutherland, Helmsdale. Lynne is currently working in Caithness General Hospital, Wick.

Nicola Cowie graduated MA (Hons) in Classical Studies from the University of St Andrews. She is the daughter of David and Marian Cowie, Golspie.
