The duo will be at Durness Village Hall on Tuesday, April 30, and at Rosehall Village Hall on Wednesday, May 1.

Eduardo and Ahmed are both solo performers in their own right but together play as a duo under the name The Bridge.

Ahmed was born in Havana but is now based in London. A multi-award winning musician, he is considered to be one of the finest performers of the Cuban classical guitar school.

He has performed at prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, The Sage, Gateshead, Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Barbican.

Eduardo is an internationally recognised guitarist and composer and one of the most sought-after composers of contemporary guitar. His works are performed and recorded on five continents, reaching ever-higher levels of diffusion.

The pair’s partnership has flourished since they first began playing together in 2014 at London’s Bolivar Hall.

Both local events begin at 7.30pm and tickets are priced £12. Cash only at Durness. Tickets for Rosehall are available from Invercassley Stores & Tearoom and Hair at the Barn, Ardgay. Also by emailing: rosehallhall18@gmail.com or phoning: 01549 441264.
