Blue ribbon day for BB

Members of the 1st Ardgay-Bonar Boys Brigade badminton team took part in a competition at Culloden Academy on Saturday, leaving with one of the top trophies.

The event was attended by a large number of boys from various Boys Brigade companies in the Inverness Battalion.

Liam Munro won the senior doubles (pairing up with a boy from another company) and also came runner up in the singles event.

Kevin Maclean won the intermediate singles and Ryan Sutherland and Grant Mackinnon won the junior doubles tournament.

The team all played extremely well and were awarded the trophy for the highest points overall in the competition.
