Police Scotland are appealing for any information relating to the vandalism of a silver motor vehicle which was parked adjacent to the pharmacy in Golspie just off the A9.

Sometime between 9pm on Tuesday, August  22 and 1.30pm on Thursday, August 24, the vehicle sustained an 8-10ins deep scratch on the driver’s door.   

Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Golspie Police on 101.

Police also wish to make local businesses aware after incidents being reported of a man trying to change a large amount of notes.

In the process he confuses staff in an attempt to obtain money.  

If any local business has information of similar incidents please contact Golspie Police on 101.

Police also wish to appeal for any information relating to the theft of two 12V batteries from the council depot in Brora.

Sometime between 5pm on August 11 and 7.30am on August 14, the batteries were removed from an HGV at the site.       

Police would encourage anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Golspie Police on 101.
