From Donald Stewart, originally from Golspie, now living at Balloch, near Inverness, comes this photo of Golspie Sutherland FC dated February 1909, taken after what was perhaps its most historic triumph, when one morning it played Citadel FC at Inverness to win the North of Scotland Junior Cup, and on the afternoon of the same day rushed north to beat Tain FC to win the Mid-Ross Shield.
